How Memphis Epoxy Floors Got Started
Memphis Epoxy Floors was started because too many homeowners in this city were getting sold bad epoxy jobs that peeled within a year. We'd see the same thing over and over — DIY kits rolled over unprepared concrete, big-box store paints flaking off in sheets, contractors skipping the diamond grind because it's the hardest part of the job. Memphis concrete takes a real beating from humidity, clay soil shifts, and hot summers, and cheap coatings can't survive it.
We built this company around doing the prep work right — diamond grinding every slab, testing for moisture, and repairing cracks before coating. Proper prep is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails. Today we serve homeowners and businesses across Memphis, Germantown, Collierville, and the surrounding Mid-South, and we're still built around the same principle: if the prep is wrong, the floor fails. Coatings are applied according to manufacturer specifications by an installation team with experience on residential and commercial epoxy and polyaspartic systems across the Memphis area. You receive a fixed price after the in-home assessment, a clear timeline, and a written project agreement before work begins.
Every project follows the same documented quality-control process — from surface prep through final cure — so the finished floor matches what was promised at the in-home assessment.
