Our Epoxy Flake Floor Process
After diamond grinding and prep (the same process on every floor we install), we roll out the base coat epoxy. While it's still wet, we broadcast the flakes — literally throwing handfuls into the air so they fall randomly and land flat. Once the epoxy cures, we scrape off the excess flakes (which we can save for you or recycle), then apply the clear topcoat that locks everything in and gives the floor its final gloss and durability. Flake comes in every color combination you can imagine — we have premixed blends (tan, gray, earth tones, black, custom combinations) and can also do custom blends if you want to match specific colors. Coverage density is adjustable too — light broadcast for a subtle effect, full broadcast for a seamless textured look.
